How to Fix Khmer Unicode on Photoshop on MacOS

If you are a Adobe Photoshop user and working with Khmer language, you may have encountered a problem when the Khmer language is not shown properly as the above photo. This is because by default, Adobe Photoshop selected text engine type to East Asian. Therefore, to fix this problem, you need to follow a few simple steps here:

Step 1:

In the Adobe Photoshop window, click "Photoshop" on the top-right screen.

Step 2:

Choose "Preferences"

Step 3:

Select "Type..."

Step 4:

The Preferences windows will pop up, select Type on the left panel, and under the Choose Text Engine Options, select "Middle Eastern and South Asian" and click OK.

Step 5:

Create a new document, and type Khmer language and you are done :)

* This change will only take effect the next time you create new document!
